"In 2019, I first met John Knight and his team at Knight Building Systems. As the movies say this was the start of a beautiful relationship! As the VP of Engineering based in Houston, Texas, trying to do a project in California, it was important for me to have “boots on the ground” in Southern California. KBS is that set of boots. KBS provided an economical solution to “turn-key” construction. Knight’s expert team lead every aspect our project.
Our project included working with local utilities, repairing the structure of a steel frame warehouse, installation of freestanding crane runway, equipment foundations, a complete power installation, and even septic. The focus of this project was to resurrect a 90,000 sq.ft. warehouse as well as the 5,000 sq.ft. office building at our location. KBS became like a part of our family keeping us on track and on time.
We were so impressed with John Knight and KBS that in 2021 we began a second project to update another existing facility. John and his team once again provided all the expertise and connections to allow us to complete our project. This second and perhaps larger project involved working with SCE to upgrade electrical infrastructure so that we could install new equipment.
I can say with certainty that without John and his team we would not have completed both projects ON TIME and ON BUDGET! If our company is doing a building project in California, you can bet that KBS will be our partner in completing it. For that matter, I’d love to have John’s team travel across the United States to work for us!"

"We hired Knight Building Systems to get us through design, permitting, and construction of a new 60,000 sq. ft. turnkey ground up design-build recycling facility. Our project included some challenging site, grading, and utilities work. In addition, our normal business operations had to continue throughout construction due to our contract obligations with our city.
Knight came through for us under budget, with some creative value-engineering, and on schedule. We were so pleased with their performance that we have contracted Knight to install a new 10,000 sq. ft. two-story office building for us.
